Job summary

HanmiGlobal MENA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection for complex projects. You will review drawings, specs and technical reports, coordinating with other disciplines to meet project objectives and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc (and MSc preferred) in Mechanical Engineering with substantial experience, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services.
Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design process including HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection.
Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings, specs and technical reports.
Coordinate designs with other disciplines and architectural teams.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Ensure compliance with international and local codes; support procurement and site activities.
