Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Controls Senior Manager / Lead in Riyadh to drive the planning, scheduling and cost analysis for complex multi-disciplinary projects. You will manage reports, oversee cost forecasting, and coordinate with clients and the FIDIC Engineer.

The role requires strong English communication, a solid engineering background, and familiarity with FIDIC contracts. This site-based position entails overseeing a specialized project controls team and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction projects with project controls management.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent contracts is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Senior Manager / Lead to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for developing, managing and/or executing all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling, cost analysis, and document control management).
• Utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients to facilitate effective project management.
• Provides guidance and specialized assistance to the FIDIC Engineer for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
• Interfaces with the Clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Prepares status reports, oversees the preparation of monthly reports and prepares presentations regarding the progress of the work with respect to interim and major milestones.
• Manages regular site inspections to assess contractor’s work progress based on approved schedule; planned versus actual progress.
• Manages a unique technical team who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
• Manages the assessment of the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules.
• Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.Performs other project controls functions as requested by the Client or the FIDIC Engineer.
• Prepare the needed reports.
• Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 15 years’ experience in construction projects, specifically project controls management experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Advantageous to have extensive experience of FIDIC or equivalent Design, Construction, PM/CM contracts.
• Project Management Certified is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Requires basic engineering knowledge in infrastructure related field.
• Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity, as well as thorough knowledge of industry practices is required.
• Incumbent must meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements.
