Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Manager - Information Management in Riyadh to establish and govern the programme-wide information management framework, ensuring secure collection, integration and use of project information across PMO functions. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, IT, engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years in project controls, programme management or information management with 5+ years in digital transformation.
  • Professional certifications in cloud, cybersecurity, networking or Scrum (as listed).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the programme-wide Information Management Strategy aligned with PMO and client objectives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, policies and procedures for information management and data quality.
  • Lead the development and management of information management systems, document management platforms and digital collaboration tools.
  • Ensure effective integration and coordination between document control, project controls, scheduling, cost management, reporting and other PMIS platforms.
  • Define and manage information lifecycle processes including creation, review, approval, storage, retrieval, retention and archiving.
  • Oversee programme data governance and ensure consistency, accuracy and integrity of project information.
  • Ensure compliance with information security requirements, cybersecurity standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support programme leadership with reliable reporting, dashboards, analytics and management information.
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders, consultants, contractors and technology providers to ensure effective information management practices.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives related to information management and process optimisation.
  • Manage information management teams, document control specialists and technical support resources.
  • Monitor information management performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards and recommendations for senior programme and client leadership.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and information excellence across the programme.

Senior Manager - Information Management

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Project Description

The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed‑use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self‑sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide PMO services, enterprise‑level governance, assurance, integration and performance oversight across all projects and programs.

Role

Reporting to the Programme Director, the Senior Manager - Information Management is responsible for establishing, leading and governing the programme‑wide information management framework, ensuring the effective collection, control, integration, security and utilisation of project information across all PMO functions. The role will drive digital information management strategies, data governance, document management standards, information lifecycle processes and system integration across the programme to support efficient project delivery, regulatory compliance and informed decision‑making. The Senior Manager - Information Management will provide leadership in the implementation of information management best practices, digital transformation initiatives, enterprise data solutions and reporting systems while ensuring the integrity, accessibility and security of programme information assets.

Main Responsibilities

Experience, Skills and Knowledge
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in project controls, programme management or information management, including at least 5 years supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Professional certification in one or more of the following:
    • Microsoft Cloud Solutions
    • Oracle Cloud Architect Professional
    • Oracle Cloud Operations Associate
    • Cisco Specialist
    • Enterprise Core
    • International Cyber Security Institute (UK) Network Security Specialist
    • Scrum Foundation Professional
    • Equivalent relevant technical certifications
  • Extensive experience implementing and managing information management frameworks on large‑scale infrastructure, construction or programme management projects.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, information architecture, records management and enterprise information systems.
  • Experience with document management systems, common data environments (CDE), digital collaboration platforms and PMIS environments.
  • Experience developing reporting solutions, dashboards and business intelligence tools including Power BI.
  • Knowledge of information security standards, cyber resilience and data protection requirements.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and technology vendors.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior client representatives.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise project management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
