Job summary

Aramco seeks a seasoned M&A Analyst to join the M&A Advisory Department within Finance. You will support valuation, modeling, due diligence, and negotiation support for large international transactions.

You’ll lead complex analyses, mentor junior staff, and help build a centre of excellence in valuation while collaborating across global teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in energy or resources sectors, IFRS knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Engineering.
• Advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) or Accounting qualification preferred, but not required.
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis for M&A and developing complex valuation/economic models.
• Significant experience in large and complex cross-border transactions in energy or natural resources sectors.
• Expert knowledge of financial analysis tools, IFRS and international taxation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert and objective advice to senior management to support decision-making in respect of M&A valuations on specific transactions.
• Support the development and execution of M&A transactions by providing comprehensive financial analysis activities including building and utilizing complex financial models, risk and uncertainty analysis, and producing financial statements.
• Source and manage valuation inputs from multiple internal and external sources, and advise on gaps, deficiencies and risks.
• Develop, coach and mentor team members in areas of expertise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies to become a center of excellence of valuation for the Company.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis activities including transfer pricing, impairment reviews, Shareek incentives, and group policy reviews.
• Manage external Financial Advisors and consultants for valuation activities on transactions. Develop relationships with banks to bring external perspectives on the M&A landscape to the Company.
