Job summary

Hilal Technology is seeking a highly experienced Lead Network & Cyber Security Engineer (L3) to lead complex enterprise networking and cybersecurity projects across customer environments. This senior, client-facing role combines hands-on technical depth with project ownership and team mentoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Network and Cyber Security Engineering.
• At least 3 years in System Integrator (SI), Managed Services, or Professional Services environment.
• Strong CCNP or CCIE-level networking expertise.
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies.
• Expertise managing and supporting at least three major firewall platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with NAC, EDR/XDR, WAF, PAM, VPN, ZTNA, and SASE technologies.
• Advanced troubleshooting using Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Experience with Cisco or Avaya IP Telephony solutions.
• Experience with Ribbon SBC platforms.
• Strong technical documentation and solution design capabilities.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise routing and switching projects across multiple vendor environments.
• Design, deploy, migrate, and troubleshoot multi-vendor firewall solutions.
• Lead security transformation and migration projects with minimal downtime.
• Implement advanced cybersecurity technologies including NAC, MFA, PAM, EDR/XDR, WAF, VPN, SASE, and ZTNA.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Lead Unified Communications deployments including SIP and SBC solutions.
• Serve as final escalation point for high-priority incidents.
• Create and maintain HLD/LLD, implementation plans, and runbooks.
• Coordinate execution with customers, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and validation activities.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and foster knowledge transfer.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and solution reviews.
