Job summary

Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements across the organization. You will own the audit process from risk assessment to reporting, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a solid accounting background, CIA/CPA or equivalent, and 3–7 years of internal audit experience. Strong analytical, communication, and independent-working skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
• CIA/CPA or equivalent certifications.
• 3–7 years of internal audit experience.
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards and risk management.
• Proficient in preparing audit documentation and reports.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal audit plans based on risk assessments.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify key risk areas and control gaps.
• Design and perform tests of controls and substantive procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs).
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, processes, and systems.
• Document findings, prepare audit reports, and present recommendations to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with departments to understand processes and risks.
• Stay updated with accounting standards, audit methodologies, and regulations.
• Conduct market research to identify audience trends and needs for campaigns.
