Position Summary

Senior Interior Designer responsible of Design and develop Concepts with shoots and full interior design package including working drawing to create functional safe and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements determining optimal furniture placement and selecting decorative items all while adhering to relevant blueprint building code and inspection requirements

Primary Duties amp Responsibilities

Designs interior spaces including permanent architectural details and temporary elementsAssesses and meets client requirements and desires through regular meetingsProduces sketches drawings and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs CAD and hand-drawing skillsCreates idea boards to communicate design concepts to clientsSelects design strategies and color palettes to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environmentsEnhances and improves interior spaces functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings artwork and decorCreates project budgets including materials and laborEstablishes project timelines and coordinates work activity vendor involvement and outside contractors as necessaryNegotiates pricing for materialsMaintains relationships with vendors and outside contractorsParticipates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client basePerforms research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worldsAdheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design elementReads and interprets blueprintsWorks closely with various colleagues including architects artists contractors painters upholsterers and building inspectors
