Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Integration Engineer to design and develop robust integration architectures linking Salla's Ecommerce SaaS platform with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and other third-party apps.

You will design and maintain APIs for data exchange, define specifications, test integrations, and ensure security. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions and create comprehensive docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer, preferably in the Ecommerce or SaaS domain
• Strong proficiency in API design principles and patterns
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, messaging queues, and other web service technologies
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OAuth/OpenID Connect
• Strong knowledge of API security best practices, including encryption, tokenization, and identity management
• Experience with Ecommerce platforms and their APIs, such as Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce
• Familiarity with third-party APIs, such as payment gateways and shipping services
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for API endpoints
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through caching, load balancing, and error handling strategies
