Job summary

King Abdullah University of Science & Technology is seeking a Lead Integration Architect/Developer to design, build, and modernize enterprise integration ecosystems across cloud and hybrid platforms. You will own technical roadmaps, write reusable frameworks, and mentor engineering teams while actively delivering core integrations.

The role demands hands-on coding, strong governance, and collaboration with security, data, and product stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in integration engineering, cloud platforms, DevOps, cybersecurity or enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on integration engineering across APIs, event-driven messaging, iPaaS, workflow/orchestration, data movement and security.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration reference architecture and roadmap covering integration architecture and patterns, API management, iPaaS/connectors, event-driven messaging, workflow/orchestration, data movement and legacy remediation.
• Build and maintain integration services including APIs, events, message flows, connectors, transformation scripts, tests and CI/CD pipelines; hands-on engineering work.
• Improve operational observability and resilience with monitoring, alerting, dashboards, audit logging and incident response practices.
• Lead and mentor a technical team; collaborate with enterprise applications, data, security, identity and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, secure integration designs.
