Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering invites a Design Lead Instrumentation to oversee the engineering activities for Solar PV Power Plants. The role includes leading a team of design engineers, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with Civil, Electrical, and MEP departments to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The position requires strong PLC/SCADA knowledge, BIM proficiency, and experience with instrumentation systems in power projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment layouts and necessary calculations.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and BIM 3D modeling preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for inter-departmental checks.
• Review design calculations and vendor deliverables.
• Support pre-bid engineering, commissioning, and warranty phases.
