Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Instrument Technician in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia to lead and supervise maintenance activities for Instrument systems across plants. You will coordinate a team, ensure adherence to preventive plans, and perform onsite repairs while upholding safety and contract standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a solid background in oil & gas maintenance, with the ability to travel internationally and reside in Saudi Arabia. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years’ oil & gas maintenance experience with Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management in oil & gas facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Willingness to travel internationally and reside in KSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate maintenance technician teams to follow preventive maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance.
• Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plans; submit progress reports regularly.
• Provide onsite maintenance and repairs on instruments (generators, transformers, motors) adhering to standards, safety procedures, and contracts.
• Lead day-to-day instrument maintenance activities for all plant equipment within responsibility area; serve as focal point for execution plans.
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper work execution and monitor technicians’ routine maintenance work.
• Record daily maintenance against plans and prepare completion reports.
• Assist in engineering modifications to instrument equipment to improve serviceability.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset and safe work practices.
