Job summary

noon is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer in Saudi Arabia to maintain IT operations, support infrastructure, and drive IT projects across the business. You will oversee daily support activities and guide technicians to ensure uptime and service quality.

This role requires a Bachelor's in IT/CS, 3+ years in IT support/infra, strong Linux/Unix and Windows skills, and solid networking knowledge. You will engage with stakeholders and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, IT infrastructure, or similar role.
• Experience in eCommerce/logistics or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Strong Linux/Unix and Windows system support.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT support to ensure equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate efficiently and meet KPIs/SLAs.
• Lead and support IT infrastructure projects across the site with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Oversee daily IT support activities, guide IT technicians, manage workloads, and escalate critical issues when required.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Review and execute change management requests in line with business requirements.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and implement cost-saving improvements.
• Conduct regular IT infrastructure audits for policy and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for issue resolution.
• Act as main contact for assigned IT projects, ensuring timely execution and documentation.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team at noon. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations, maintaining infrastructure performance, resolving technical issues, and supporting IT projects across the business. You'll also play a key role in guiding IT technicians, improving support processes, and ensuring business continuity.

What you'll do:

• Provide advanced IT support to ensure all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate efficiently while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead and support IT infrastructure projects across the site, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Oversee daily IT support activities, guide IT technicians, manage workloads, and escal**ate** critical issues when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Review, coordinate, and execute change management requests in line with business requirements.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular IT infrastructure audits to ensure compliance with company IT policies and Health & Safety standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned IT projects, ensuring timely execution, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide technical guidance and support for new IT initiatives, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and handle ad-hoc technical requests across the business.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of3 years of relevant experience in IT support, IT infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Previous experience in eCommerce, logistics, or a fast-paced operational environment is preferred.
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix and MS Windows system support.
• Solid understanding of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Experience supporting IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and change management activities.
• Ability to guide junior IT team members and manage multiple technical priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
