Job summary

Manpower Resources India is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep of hydraulic systems across the EAF-based SMS steel shop. You will plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance, inspect components, and coordinate shutdowns to minimize downtime.

The role requires 8+ years in hydraulic maintenance, familiarity with HPUs, valves and safety protocols, and the ability to lead technicians while ensuring compliance with LOTO and site procedures.

Qualifications

B. Tech in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (FT).
8+ years of post-qualification experience in hydraulic systems.
Experience in SMS/EAF environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain hydraulic systems for EAF, LF, CCM and related SMS equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Monitor oil quality, filtration and contamination control.
Plan shutdowns and coordinate with multiple maintenance teams.
Identify critical spares and manage inventory levels.
Supervise technicians and ensure safety procedures are followed.
