Job summary

Parsons is seeking an HSEWW Engineer for power utilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on strengthening safety and environmental performance across projects handling electrical hazards, live-line proximity, and high-risk activities.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in HSE within power utilities, with NEBOSH/OSHAIOSH credentials preferred. You will implement procedures, inspect activities, investigate incidents, and promote a practical safety culture across critical utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with exposure to power utilities.
• Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in power utilities or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, standards, and project-specific controls.
• Ensure compliance with HSE laws, electrical safety regulations, environmental permits, and client standards.
• Conduct HSE inspections and audits across substations, switching stations, and construction sites.
• Track findings, assign corrective actions, and verify closure and effectiveness.
• Lead risk assessments, job safety analyses, and hazard identifications for high-risk activities.
• Review permits to work, method statements, and risk assessments with practical field judgment.
• Develop and deliver HSE induction and toolbox talks tailored to power utility risks.
• Prepare HSE performance reports, KPI dashboards, and trend analyses.
