Job summary

Snc-Lavalin Riyadh is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead all HSE activities for a major site supervision project in Saudi Arabia. You will develop, implement, and monitor the HSE Management Plan, ensure regulatory and client requirements, and coordinate with client, consultants, contractors and authorities.

The role requires 15+ years in HSE with 8+ in a managerial capacity on large construction projects, and strong ISO 45001/14001 knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain the HSE Management Plan.
Lead all HSE activities and act as primary contact for health and safety matters.
Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, international standards and client requirements.
Review contractor HSE plans, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
Conduct site inspections, audits and safety assessments to verify compliance.
Lead investigations into incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Promote a strong safety culture across the project and engage stakeholders.
Coordinate HSE meetings and review permit-to-work systems.
Oversee environmental management, waste, and emission controls.
Prepare and submit HSE reports and KPI dashboards.
