Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hardware and Network Engineer with Min 8 years of hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting hardware and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of enterprise‑level systems, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a strong understanding of current networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain computer hardware systems including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructures.
- Monitor network performance, ensure high availability, and implement performance tuning as needed.
- Manage network security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure hardware lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement and support.
- Install and maintain server operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Conduct periodic network audits and implement best practices for compliance and performance.
- Manage data backup and recovery solutions.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve hardware/network issues within defined SLAs.
- Document all configurations, processes, and procedures accurately.
- Provide system remote to teams across the globe
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s or Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ preferred).
- Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Proficient in Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper‑V).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Professional (CCNP)
- CompTIA Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
