Job summary

A pioneering technology company in the Riyadh region is seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of accounting experience, particularly in IT or software environments, along with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of IFRS and VAT compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in IT or software companies.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Monitor project costs and revenue related to software and mapping projects.
• Ensure accurate recording of intangible assets, software costs, and amortization.
• Support budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
