Job summary

HanmiGlobal in Saudi Arabia seeks a highly qualified GIS / CAD Specialist to join the PMCM team on a mega land and infrastructure program in Riyadh. You will manage geospatial data, coordinate CAD drawings, and ensure accuracy and accessibility of technical information across project packages.

Responsibilities include GIS databases, CAD layouts, data integration with engineering models, and metadata control to support design reviews, planning, and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in GIS, CAD, geospatial data management, infrastructure, utilities, or major construction projects.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or multi-package programs.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise or QGIS.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; Civil 3D desirable.
• Knowledge of coordinate systems, georeferencing, geodatabases, and map production.
• Familiarity with BIM/GIS integration or digital engineering tools is a plus.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC on government-led projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases and spatial data.
• Prepare, review, and manage CAD drawings, layouts, and utility networks.
• Integrate GIS data with CAD drawings, models, and survey information.
• Validate accuracy and consistency of geospatial data and drawings.
• Maintain spatial records for roads, drainage, water, utilities, and land parcels.
• Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, survey teams, and stakeholders.
• Identify spatial conflicts and data gaps, coordinating corrective actions.
• Prepare GIS maps, analyses, and technical drawings for reviews and reporting.
• Establish drawing registers, metadata, and document control procedures.
• Ensure CAD/GIS standards and data specifications are followed.
• Assist with as-built drawings, asset data, and handover deliverables.
• Collaborate across Planning, Design, Technical, Construction, and PMIS teams.
• Promote data quality, workflow improvements, and digital practices.
