Job summary

Consult Group in Riyadh, KSA, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Specification - Fire Protection to lead technical specification activities across Saudi Arabia. You will influence design decisions, secure product approvals, and support vendors and channel partners throughout major projects.

The role requires deep knowledge of fire detection systems, strong relationships with consultants and EPC/MEP contractors, and willingness to travel across the country.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or comparable technical qualification in electrical, electronics, mechanical or fire protection engineering.
• Substantial experience in technical sales, specification engineering or consultant engagement in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; strong CRM and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Map priority consultants, design practices, developers, contractors and project owners; build working relationships with decision makers.
• Engage at concept and detailed design stages to understand project risks, system architecture, compliance needs and procurement routes.
• Present solutions and prepare technical submittals, product data, compliance matrices and design guidance for relevant applications.
• Lead applications for inclusion on approved vendor/manufacturer lists; maintain approval records and stakeholder contacts.
• Track specifications from design through tender and award; address substitutions and objections with evidence.
