Job summary

Reef Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy of records, and enforce approved policies and IFRS standards.

The role manages accounting operations, closing processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while supporting control and efficiency across Reef Group. This position requires 7–10 years in accounting and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
• Experience in managing accounting operations and financial closing processes.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Experience working with ERP and financial management systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
• Strong operational and team management capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recording and processing of all daily financial transactions.
• Review and approve journal entries and ensure accuracy before closing.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Monitor general ledger balances and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and accuracy of transactions.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable operations.
• Develop and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for required information.
• Support annual budgeting in coordination with FP&A team.
• Monitor variances and provide corrective actions.
• Supervise accounting team and support professional development.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for senior management.
• Maintain proper financial controls across accounting operations.
• Identify operational and financial risks and propose actions.
• Monitor data accuracy across ERP and financial systems.
