Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Provide Accounting assistance to the Production Team – dealing with all matters that arise during the course of the Production and presenting regular Final Cost and projection information to Production Executive and Head of Production.
- Ensure that Vendor Invoices are properly coded and authorised for payment.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable on all Payables issues – dealing with Vendor enquiries.
- Manage and reconcile the Production Pre‑Paid Cards and maintain proper controls over these expenses.
- Manage and reconcile expenditure incurred on Production Credit Cards.
- Process T&E expenses for all relevant staff using the Concur system.
- Assist Production Managers with monthly Actual Cost Reporting against Budget and analysing and explaining Budget‑vs‑Actual variances.
- Proactively analyse Production spend and revenue and report potential under/overspends.
- Handle any other ad‑hoc production‑related finance matters as required.
- Liaise with accounting staff in other departments on all of the above.

- Must be flexible, adaptable and prepared to work as part of a team and occasionally for irregular hours.

- Up‑to‑date Cost Trackers.
- Understanding of Client’s Project spend.
- Timely reconciliation of Expenses.
- Timely Invoice processing.
Experience Required
Mandatory
- Studying for a recognised Accounting Qualification (e.g., SOCPA license training).
- University Degree or equivalent in an Accounting related subject.
- Numerate and able to organise and manage multiple tasks with priority setting.
- Ability to work without close supervision and take initiative to resolve problems or refer them to Supervisors.
- Interest in Television Production and desire to pursue a career in the industry.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload on a daily basis.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in an Accounting/Finance environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the SAP Accounting System.
- Knowledge of the Television Programme Production Business.
- Interest in Sport.
