Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned HSE leader to oversee environmental, safety and health disciplines across major infrastructure programs. You will develop and maintain safety systems, monitor hazards, and ensure compliance with government agency requirements. The role may lead a team of ES&H specialists on mid-sized projects.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in HSE with 3–5 years in leadership, and proven experience on large infrastructure, rail, construction or engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (OHS, Env Sci, Engineering).
• NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Managing Safely, CSP or equivalent certifications.
• 12+ years of HSE experience with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, perform moderately complex technical work in environmental, safety and health disciplines to meet ES&H standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain safety and health programs and procedures; monitor hazards.
• Investigate accidents and workplace complaints; recommend process improvements.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and technical advice; may lead ES&H teams or projects.
