Job summary

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is seeking a senior Shift Supervisor to oversee 24/7 grid operations for utility assets, including power plants, lines, substations, and energy storage. You will monitor dispatch, analyze performance, and direct control room staff to maintain safe, reliable service.

Lead efforts to integrate wind, solar and hydro power, coordinate with developers and regulators, and ensure compliance with standards. You will also develop emergency plans and train teams across cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in grid operations, renewables preferred.
• At least 3 years in a senior operations role and 5 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day grid operations activities with dispatchers.
• Implement and oversee procedures to ensure grid stability and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze grid performance data and optimize operations efficiency.
• Develop strategies for integrating wind, solar and hydro energy.
• Coordinate with developers, transmission operators, and regulators.
• Optimize renewable energy dispatch and curtailment while maintaining stability.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and drills.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during grid emergencies.
• Conduct training and development for operational teams.
