Job summary

Saudi Paper Group is seeking an electrical maintenance professional to inspect and service plant electrical systems, machinery, and wiring. You will plan layouts, install fixtures, and test circuits to ensure safe operation and code compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a diploma in a related engineering field, and good English communication skills. You will participate in preventive maintenance and assist during emergencies with power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check and inspect electrical parts/equipment; report abnormalities.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures per specs and codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Inspect for hazards, defects, and code compliance.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate causes with test tools.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring and fixtures.
• Report abnormalities during preventive maintenance.
• Provide assistance during emergencies with floodlights, generators, and vehicles.
• Perform duties using safe and environmentally friendly methods.

Job description

• Checks, inspects all the electrical parts/equipment in the whole plant. Reports all abnormalities observed, notification generation against abnormalities.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
• Reporting of any abnormality noticed in the equipment while executing the preventive maintenance work order.
• Notification generation against the abnormality observed in the equipment’s.
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles.
• Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental friendly methods.
