Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Mandatory experience in the petrochemical or mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, safety standards, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Diagnose faults and implement repair solutions to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, test, install and maintain motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and control panels.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.


• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and availability.


• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.


• Inspect, test, install, and maintain motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.


• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.


• Replace and commission electrical components and equipment as required.


• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards, electrical codes, and HSE regulations.


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and technical documentation.
