Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to oversee electrical projects within MEP operations. You will ensure compliance with codes and standards, optimize system performance, and lead project teams to deliver high-quality installations.

This role involves managing scope, schedules, budgets, and procurement, mentoring engineers and technicians, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and driving HSE compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards for MEP projects.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Mastery of electrical system design, installation, and troubleshooting for complex projects.
• Strong leadership and team management to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders; ERP knowledge (SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of electrical projects within MEP operations, defining scope and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance in electrical system design and ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and manage procurement to maintain profitability.
• Mentor project teams, foster collaboration, and ensure timely project completion.
• Serve as primary client contact, provide progress updates, and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement QA processes, conduct inspections, and ensure safety of installations.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and address risks to prevent delays.
• Administer contracts and change orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
