Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector for a major data centre project located east of Riyadh. The role focuses on inspection of electrical works, verification against drawings and standards, and coordination with on-site teams to ensure quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in electrical inspection on large construction projects, SCE registration, and strong knowledge of electrical systems and inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector on large‑scale construction projects.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration – mandatory.
• Proven experience on data centre, industrial, or mission‑critical projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced site environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor electrical works including power distribution, lighting, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams on site.
• Review method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Identify non‑conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Support quality assurance and health & safety requirements on site.
