Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector for a major data centre project east of Riyadh. The role requires overseeing electrical works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and standards on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as an Electrical Inspector on large-scale construction projects.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration mandatory.
• Experience on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all electrical works are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Inspect and monitor electrical works including power distribution, lighting, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams on site.
• Review method statements, inspection test plans, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Support quality assurance and health & safety requirements on site.
