Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to lead design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure across major projects in the Middle East. The role requires a strong background in MV, LV, street lighting and telecommunications with a track record on UAE/KSA programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, producing engineering drawings and BIM models, and ensuring conformity to standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in dry utility design and delivery.
• Proven experience in MV, LV, Street Lighting and TEL network design; UAE/KSA projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM software, ETAP, and DIALux evo; Revit is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of MV, LV, Street Lighting, and TEL networks.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Coordinate dry utility designs with multidisciplinary infrastructure, civil, electrical, and other teams.
• Manage design coordination, QA/QC, technical reviews, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project planning and delivery.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure across major infrastructure and development projects, including MV, LV, Street Lighting, and Telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), Street Lighting (SL), and Telecommunications (TEL) networks.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable engineering codes and regulations.
• Coordinate dry utility designs with multidisciplinary infrastructure, civil, electrical, and other engineering teams.
• Manage design coordination, QA/QC, technical reviews, and resolution of design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project planning, client coordination, and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in MV, LV, Street Lighting, and Telecommunications (TEL) network design.
• Proven experience on major UAE and/or KSA infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM software, ETAP, and DIALux evo, with Revit experience considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of dry utility design standards, multidisciplinary coordination, QA/QC, and engineering best practices.
