Job summary

KBR in Saudi Arabia, based in Al Khobar, seeks a Discipline Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural & Piping) to coordinate discipline engineering across all project phases. You will review deliverables, drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Oil & Gas, with mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience and familiarity with SAES, SAMSS, SATIP.
Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup support.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate discipline engineering activities across all project phases.
Review deliverables, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, Saudi Aramco standards, and industry best practices.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
Support procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe and successful project execution.
Monitor progress and support project schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
