Job summary

DS DeepSource GmbH seeks a skilled Database Administrator to join our multinational partner. You will ensure database performance, availability, and security for mission-critical applications, collaborating with IT, development, and stakeholders.

The role demands 5+ years of DBA experience, strong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server, and hands-on expertise with monitoring tools and security best practices. On-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with database administration tools and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, MCDBA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the performance, reliability, and availability of databases.
• Develop and implement security measures to protect the databases from unauthorized access or data loss.
• Design, implement, and maintain database systems and schemas.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute database backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.
