Job summary

SiFi, a next-generation CFO platform, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to define and scale the data platform foundation. You will own data modeling, KPI definitions, and AI-ready infra to ensure accurate, scalable metrics across Finance, Product, Engineering, and Compliance.

This high-ownership role focuses on building financial data infrastructure from first principles. Based in Saudi Arabia with relocation, you will design our cloud warehouse (BigQuery), implement transformations (dbt/SQLMesh),

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Strong SQL expertise with hands-on data modeling experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
• Experience with modern transformation frameworks such as dbt or SQLMesh.
• Experience building or supporting production-grade AI/ML pipelines is a strong plus.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable data models in SQL and establish structured warehouse layers.
• Own BigQuery data warehouse and transform workflows using dbt, SQLMesh, or similar tools.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and observability with governance controls.
• Translate business requirements into robust data systems that support trusted reporting.

What You Will Own

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help define andscale the foundation ofSiFi’sdata platform.

You will be part of the Data & AI team and serve as akey partner to Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance.Yourprimary responsibility will be todesign and own our data platform,modeling standards, and AI-ready infrastructure, ensuring that metricsareaccurate, scalable, and trusted across the organization.

This is a high-ownership role focused on building financialdata infrastructure from first principles.

Data Modeling and Standards

• Defineandmaintainscalable data models in SQL
