Job summary

HALA is seeking a senior information security leader to govern and advance the company’s cybersecurity program in a dynamic fintech environment. The role oversees governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, audits, and security awareness across the organization.

You will report to executive leadership, coordinate with boards and regulators, and drive strategic security initiatives while guiding budget and vendor risk management in a fast-growing regional business.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization's Information Security Governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead the creation and execution of the Cyber Security Strategy in alignment with the company's goals.
• Provide regular reports to the Board and executive management on cybersecurity status.
• Establish and manage a KPI program to measure security effectiveness and progress.
• Oversee the information security budget and resource allocation to manage risk.
• Design and manage enterprise-wide Cyber Security Risk Management program.
• Conduct risk assessments (e.g., BIA) to identify and evaluate information security risks.
• Facilitate risk treatment planning with business and technology owners.
• Manage vendor risk, including cloud providers and payment gateways.
• Integrate risk management into SDLC and change management processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory examinations and audits (SAMA, CMA).
• Ensure compliance with SAMA CSF, PCI DSS, and other regulations; manage licenses and certifications.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and responses; monitor changes in laws and standards.
• Manage internal and external security audits, evidence gathering, and remediation tracking.
• Develop and maintain a robust control testing program for key security controls.
• Oversee remediation of audit findings to closure.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and training tailored to roles; foster a security culture.
