Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer for the Ar Rjum project in Saudi Arabia. You will prepare cost forecasts, review cost trends, and implement cost control requirements to support project delivery.

You will produce routine performance reports, monitor contractor costs, and ensure changes are reflected in the EAC and budget. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project/Construction Management or related fields.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience; or 12–15 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost budgets and accurate cost & cashflow forecasts, using the change management system.
• Monitor progress of contractors, verify monthly incurred costs, prepare monthly accruals and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure approved trends and changes are incorporated into the overall project estimate at completion (EAC) and budget for cost and quantities.
• Prepare routine performance reports and special studies related to assigned scope for presentation to project, corporate, and/or customer management team(s).
• Maintain open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities
