Job summary

A Safety Engineer is needed to join the construction supervision team for a residential villa project in Riyadh. The role focuses on monitoring contractor compliance with HSE requirements, Saudi regulations, and international best practices to protect workers and visitors.

Responsibilities include reviewing HSE plans, conducting daily site inspections, managing performance KPIs, supervising high‑risk activities, investigating incidents, delivering safety training, and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in construction, preferably on residential/villa projects.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia with knowledge of local regulations and authorities.
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH or equivalent HSE certification.
• Fluent in English; Arabic skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments, and JSAs.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits across active construction areas.
• Monitor contractor safety performance against project KPIs and HSE objectives.
• Oversee high‑risk activities and ensure permit‑to‑work systems are in place.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions.
• Support emergency planning, drills, and first aid response.
• Prepare HSE reports and maintain comprehensive safety records.
