Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Structural Inspector for stadium projects, focusing on bridge and structure inspections. You will assess structural integrity using visual and non-destructive methods, document findings, and collaborate with engineers to plan repairs.

A PE license is preferred, with 8–12 years in similar roles and a solid knowledge of AASHTO/ASCE/FHWA standards. Role requires independent work and strong communication to diverse audiences, with coordination of inspections, reports, and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• 8–12 years of proven bridge inspection and structural assessment experience.
• Familiar with AASHTO, ASCE, FHWA codes and standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized inspections of bridges to assess structural integrity and safety.
• Use visual, non-destructive testing and instrumentation to evaluate bridge components.
• Document findings with clear reports and recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop repair and maintenance plans.
• Communicate findings to clients, regulators and project stakeholders.
