Senior BIM Mechanical Engineer – Revit Specialist

Job summary

Azdah is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh or Doha. You will collaborate closely with the BIM Project Manager and BIM Coordinator to develop Mechanical BIM models, conduct clash detection, and generate detailed shop drawings. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, especially with Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Detailing, Shop Drawings, Etc.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD is a MUST.
• Familiarity with Revit Mechanical Families is a plus.
• Good communication skills and leadership skills.
• Ability to be a team player and have multi-disciplinary coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Mechanical BIM models to high Level of Development (LOD).
• Generate clash detection between Mechanical and other BIM models.
• Log and communicate uncoordinated clashes to the BIM Manager.
• Solve clashes and update the BIM models.
• Create detailed shop drawings from Mechanical BIM models.
• Prepare and present weekly progress reports.
• Generate Mechanical BOQs as needed.
