Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Avionics Specialist to provide engineering guidance on RSAF avionics systems and to oversee upgrade projects from design to test. You will manage a team of ten engineers, coordinate with RSAF and international partners, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

The role requires a degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent), Chartered Engineer status, and extensive experience in civil and military avionics.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electronics Engineering to degree level (HND/HNC acceptable with suitable experience).
• Extensive design, development, integration and test of civil and military avionics systems and equipment.
• Good command of RSAF aircraft avionics concepts, maintenance management, and analytical/presentation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, evaluate and devise solutions for avionics systems across civil/m military platforms.
• Oversee avionics upgrade projects from requirements through test and commissioning.
• Provide line management for CMS staff and coordinate with RSAF senior command and contractors.
• Prepare SoR/SoW and engineering plans for procurement/modification of aircraft and training equipment.
• Review vendor specs, test plans and ensure procedures and test reports are accurate.
