Job summary

Halwani Brothers seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to oversee AR activities across branches, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support cash flow management.

Key duties include invoicing, collections, bank reconciliations, ERP data integrity, and providing timely insights to the Finance team for audit-ready documentation.

Requires a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and 3–5 years of AR experience; SOCPA certification is mandatory, CPA/CMA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years AR experience, preferably in branch or regional roles.
• SOCPA certification mandatory; CPA/CMA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate AR records for operations across branches.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to Account Receivable Section Head.
• Ensure timely posting of transactions in ERP/financial systems.
• Monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile customer balances and ensure accurate aging of accounts.
• Support the Account Receivable Section Head in credit control and collections.
• Manage daily cash collections and deposits in coordination with Treasury.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Ensure proper safeguarding of cash and financial documents.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and tax requirements.
• Maintain supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Support external and internal audits at the branch level.
