Job summary

Upwork is seeking a Senior Google Apigee X Developer & Administrator in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll lead the design, implementation, and administration of the API management platform within Google Cloud Platform, ensuring a scalable and secure API ecosystem for enterprise integration.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience with API management, specifically Google Apigee X, and strong skills in cloud networking and CI/CD automation. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Apigee, API Management, and application integration.
• Proven experience working specifically with Google Apigee X.
• Strong experience in both Apigee development and platform administration.
• Experience configuring and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Google Apigee X environments across Development, Test, and Production.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code validation, testing, and deployments.
• Implement API security, governance, and best practices for enterprise API management.
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
