Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office. This role targets Indian nationals with English fluency and valid work visa, responsible for all financial transactions and accurate financial records.

The candidate will prepare statements, analyze data, and advise management on financial matters. Requirements include a bachelor's degree, 5+ years experience, CPA/CA preferred, and proficiency in QuickBooks or SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the Middle East.
• CPA or CA designation is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Analyze financial data and advise on profitability and efficiency improvements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff as needed.
