Career Legal in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance Manager in daily finance operations of the Riyadh office and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

The role collaborates with US and London finance teams to meet the office's financial management needs, handles accounts payable/receivable, billing, month-end close, and regulatory filings while maintaining strict confidentiality and high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transactional finance experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll.
• Law firm or professional services experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of KSA accounting standards, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Strong customer service focus with a proactive and professional approach; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines; maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Support the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank transactions, including expense payments, revenue collections, and bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support client billing, e-invoicing and collections for the Riyadh office, working with the London-based Revenue Team.
• Help submit client e-bills through local electronic billing systems and confirm they were submitted successfully.
• Support month-end and year-end close, including accrual and adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Gather information needed to prepare local and country regulatory and tax filings, in coordination with the Finance Manager and the external consultant.
• Coordinate financial and tax audits, providing the required support and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Firm policies and procedures.
• Take on ad hoc assignments as needed.
