Job summary

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Riyadh is seeking an accounting professional to develop financial statements, manage chart of accounts, forecasts, and other management reports in a timely and accurate manner.

You will support accounting policies, assist monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, address audits, monitor transactions, review reconciliations, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards; a strong focus on controls and training junior staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop financial statements, chart of accounts, position forecasts, and management reports promptly and accurately
• Provide support to accounting and closing policies, procedures, and financial controls
• Assist monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings with necessary support and training
• Tackle non‑compliance cases from audits and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks
• Monitor recording of transactions, journal entries, and postings to ledgers for accuracy and completeness
• Review bank reconciliations for all bank accounts and ensure matching
• Execute closing processes daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly and report discrepancies to stakeholders
• Review periodic financial reports to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
