Overview

Master-Works is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role entails oversight of the accounting processes while collaborating closely with other departments to provide financial insights and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and fund management to ensure accurate cash positioning.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard assets.
  • Assist with the annual budget preparation and forecasting process.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and answers to auditor inquiries.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants within the department.
