Job summary

Eslbar is seeking an experienced Senior 2-Stroke Engine Design Engineer to lead the design, development and validation of mechanical components for large marine and power generation engines. You will oversee 2D/3D CAD design and ensure compliance with licensor standards and industry regulations to drive performance, quality and manufacturability.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in engine design, with exposure to European or American

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in design of internal combustion engines, marine propulsion or power generation.
• Experience must have been in Europe or America.
• Knowledge of IMO regulations, classification society rules, and licensor design standards.
• Strong CAD and mechanical design skills, with understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of mechanical components for large marine and power generation engines.
• Oversee 2D/3D CAD design and ensure compliance with licensor standards and industry regulations.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and drive design optimisation for performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in English.
