Job summary

Burson is seeking an experienced, highly organized Project Manager to join our communications team on a full-time secondment at a key client’s office. The role requires proactive communication and strong coordination across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience in public relations, communications or corporate affairs, ideally within an agency or in-house communications function.
• Demonstrated project management experience; qualification is a plus.
• Strong writing, editing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day liaison between the client and the agency, ensuring effective communication and smooth workflow.
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
• Track, monitor and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Support the development and implementation of communication plans, press materials and advice notes.
• Assist in the design of strategies and campaigns, including by conducting research and analysis to guide decision‑making.
• Prepare and maintain project trackers, action logs and post-campaign reports.
• Manage approval processes and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain brand consistency and uphold client confidentiality at all times.
