Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to build and lead the Saudi Arabian operations from the ground up, aligning with CMA licensing and regulatory readiness. The role will establish office infrastructure, technology, vendor management, and robust controls.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will coordinate with HQ in Hong Kong to implement strategy, manage people, processes, and risk, and drive business continuity and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or operations management.
• Professional qualifications in PMP/Prince2 or CFA/CISI are advantageous.
• 10–15 years of progressive operations experience in financial services.
• Senior leadership experience (COO or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end operational establishment of the Saudi entity, including office setup and technology deployment.
• Coordinate CMA licensing support and readiness with CEO, compliance, and HQ.
• Oversee daily operational functions of the Saudi brokerage, including onboarding, settlements, and back-office processing.
• Develop and enforce operational policies, controls, and service standards reflecting CMA requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and lead the Saudi operations team and manage budget and vendor relationships.
