Job summary

Flint International Middle East seeks an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant (C1) to lead end-to-end S/4HANA MM design, configuration, and deployment, aligning with business processes and enterprise architecture.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, data migration expertise, and ability to drive Procure-to-Pay, inventory management, and cross-module integrations with FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM, plus mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 end-to-end S/4HANA MM implementations.
• Experience as SAP MM Lead in refinery/oil procurement.
• Ability to document Fit/Gap details and create Solution Design documents.
• Proven workshop facilitation with business stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating cross-module integrations and cutover activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end S/4HANA MM implementations covering requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
• Configure and implement Procure-to-Pay processes (PR, PO, GR, IV).
• Manage data migration from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
• Develop FS, BPD, test scripts and training materials; facilitate user trainings.
• Coordinate integrations with FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, QM and work with ABAP/technical teams on enhancements.
• Lead testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and support post go-live issues.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure governance and audit compliance.

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant (C1 level) with strong expertise in S/4HANA implementations. The consultant will be responsible for leading end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and enterprise architecture. The role requires deep functional knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive complex transformations in procurement and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end S/4HANA MM implementations, covering: business requirement gathering, blueprinting & solution design, configuration & realization, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Configure and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including PR, PO, GR, and IV.
• Manage data migration activities from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
• Conduct workshops with business to gather and validate requirements; translate business requirements into Solution Design documents, Integration Documents, and Functional Specifications.
• Design and configure Material Master & Vendor Master; Purchasing & Inventory Processes; Pricing, Release Strategy, and Account Determination.
• Prepare Functional Specifications (FS), Business Process Documents (BPD), and Test Scripts; develop test cases for Unit, SIT, and UAT; prepare End User Training materials (Train the Trainer).
• Coordinate integrations with other modules (FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, QM) and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements (BADI, BAPI, interfaces).
• Lead testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT); support cutover planning and execution, including data upload and validation; provide post go-live support and issue resolution.
• Manage stakeholder communications, facilitate workshops, and drive process improvements and best practices adoption.
• Provide mentorship to junior consultants and ensure compliance with project governance, documentation, and audit requirements; manage multiple deliverables within timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Mandatory Skills

• SAP MM Functional Expertise with deep S/4HANA MM knowledge (Material/Master, Vendor Master, procurement, inventory management, pricing, release strategies, and valuation).
• Strong experience in Procurement & Inventory Management, Invoice Verification & Valuation, and related processes.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end S/4HANA MM implementations; experience as SAP MM Lead, preferably in Refinery/IS Oil procurement, contracts, supplier management, flexible workflows, and SAP Best Practices.
• Experience in conducting Show & Tell workshops with business; ability to document Fit/Gap details.
• Experience translating business requirements into solution design documents and integration specifications; experience creating test scripts for unit testing, SIT, and UAT; and preparing training materials.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to manage cutover activities and post go-live support.
