Job summary

Astek Middle East is seeking an experienced SAP Interfaces (CPI/CIG) Specialist to design, develop, monitor and support enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems in Jubail. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain SAP CPI / Integration Suite integration flows (iFlows).
• Configure and support SAP Ariba CIG integrations with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
• Develop interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SFTP/files, and other patterns.
• Translate requirements into integration architectures, data-flow diagrams, and mappings.
• Troubleshoot messages, connectivity, and mappings; perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage deployments across dev, QA, and prod environments with version control.
• Support ServiceNow-to-SAP integrations, including API testing and environment promotion.
• Implement security controls covering authentication, encryption, certificates, and secrets.
• Support MES integration patterns antara SAP CPI and SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain interface inventories, dashboards, logs, and audit-ready documentation.
• Provide L3 production support and knowledge transfer.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Interfaces (CPI/CIG) Specialist to design, develop, configure, monitor and support enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) and practical experience with SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG). The role involves delivering reliable interfaces across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments, troubleshooting complex integration issues, and providing Level 3 (L3) production support.

This position requires a technically strong professional who can take ownership of integration delivery, ensure secure and controlled deployments, and maintain high standards of operational reliability and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain SAP CPI / Integration Suite integration flows (iFlows), including adapters, routing, message and value mappings, scripting, and reusable integration components.
• Configure and support SAP Ariba CIG integrations with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, covering master and transactional data flows, mappings, monitoring and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SFTP/files, events and other approved integration patterns.
• Translate business and technical requirements into integration architectures, interface specifications, data-flow diagrams, mappings, validation rules and error-handling procedures.
• Troubleshoot failed messages, connectivity and authentication issues, payload and mapping errors, and backend failures; perform root-cause analysis and controlled message reprocessing.
• Manage integration deployments across development, quality and production environments, including endpoint configuration, credentials, certificates, version control, testing and rollback planning.
• Support ServiceNow-to-SAP integrations, including API testing, payload validation, callbacks, response handling and environment promotion.
• Implement appropriate security controls covering authentication, encryption, certificates, access privileges, secrets and sensitive data.
• Support industrial and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration patterns, including interfaces between operational middleware, SAP CPI and SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain interface inventories, monitoring dashboards, alerting, logs, support runbooks, test evidence and audit-ready documentation.
• Provide L3 production support, participate in releases and hypercare, and transfer technical knowledge to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Integration Engineering or a related field.
• More than 10 years of relevant enterprise integration experience.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on experience with SAP CPI / Cloud Integration and SAP Integration Suite.
• Practical experience configuring, implementing and supporting SAP Ariba CIG integrations with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC.
• Proven experience delivering and supporting SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP interfaces in development, quality and production environments.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, REST/SOAP/OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SFTP/files, XML/JSON and message transformation.
• Experience with Groovy or equivalent scripting, message mapping, connectivity troubleshooting, certificates, OAuth/TLS and secure endpoint configuration.
• Demonstrated experience in production monitoring, error handling, retries/reprocessing, root-cause analysis and L3 support.
• Ability to manage controlled releases, testing, deployment evidence, rollback procedures and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, ownership and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Professional English communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow integrations, API management or hybrid connectivity.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, asset-intensive environments or MES integrations.
• Relevant SAP Integration Suite / Integration Developer certification.
• Additional SAP Ariba CIG, SAP BTP, API management, security or SAP S/4HANA integration certifications.
