Role Summary

The SAP IBP L3 Consultant will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with primary focus on Demand Planning (IBP for Demand) and Response & Supply Planning (IBP for Response and Supply). The role requires strong functional leadership, advanced planning expertise, and ownership of end‑to‑end IBP delivery across complex supply chain landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

IBP Demand Planning

• Lead implementation of IBP for Demand
• Design and configure:
• Demand forecasting models
• Time series forecasting
• Demand sensing and overrides
• Configure key figures, planning views, and planning operators
• Enable consensus demand planning and collaboration workflows
• Improve forecast accuracy and bias reduction
• Support scenario simulations and what‑if analysis

IBP Response & Supply

• Lead IBP for Response and Supply design and rollout
• Configure:
• Supply planning heuristics and optimizer
• Capacity planning and constraints
• Order‑based planning and pegging
• Enable near real‑time response planning
• Integrate demand plans with supply, inventory, and production plans
• Support ATP/CTP alignment with execution systems

Integration & Data Management

• Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC via CIF / SDI
• Define master data, transactional data, and planning area structures
• Ensure data consistency across Demand, Supply, and Response modules
• Collaborate with data and integration teams for performance optimization

Advanced Planning & Analytics

• Configure alerts, dashboards, and KPI monitoring
• Enable scenario planning and version management
• Support S&OP / IBP cycles and executive reviews
• Provide analytics for service level, inventory, and capacity performance

Leadership & Delivery

• Act as functional lead for IBP workstream
• Conduct business blueprint and solution design workshops
• Translate business requirements into scalable IBP solutions
• Guide L1/L2 consultants and review configurations
• Support UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare
• Work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership
